Buying a House in Greece to Save the World Economy

AT first glance, that may sound cliché but actually it is not. The world is in the brink of recession and you can surely help prevent that by bailing out your money and spend and spend and spend. This is definitely not the right time to save. You can always do that when the economy in your country is already stable. The problem is, it’s not just the economy in your country which is currently in trouble but almost all countries in the world. It is a ripple.
There are many Greek-Americans in the United States who have never seen their home country or the country where their grandparents come from before emigrating here in the United States. If you have retired already, you may want to move your American spouse to Greece. Anyway, your American-born children can take care of themselves already because they are grown up and have their respective families. So a permanent retirement and vacation is definitely ideal for a middle-aged Greek-American couple in Greece.
Greece has been there since the historic Olympic times. You may want to consider buying a house there. Never be afraid of any mortgage crisis here in Greece because as a member of the European Union, the European Central Bank is responsible to stabilize the economy here. They have taken all the necessary measures that the crisis in the United States will never reach here.
In booking a flight alone through online travel agency Expedia, you already have contributed to the United States economy because Expedia is based in the United States. When you travel via United, you will again be contributing to the United States economy because United Airlines is a US carrier. But when you travel via Olympic Airlines across the Atlantic, then you will now be contributing to the economy of your granddad’s motherland.
You will surely find the home of your grandparents as not boring. The Greeks are a patriotic bunch and they even stand firm on their ground when their neighbor Turkey bullies them every now and then on the ticklish Cyprus issue. One testament of the Greeks’ patriotism can be found in the United States. The Greek-Americans are a tight bunch; they never mingle or interact with other folks especially when it comes to observing their Orthodox religion.
And the Greek economy is nowhere close to recession. In fact, Marfin Investment Group is confident in the economic steering of the country. The company alone is investing in sports particularly the national football team which is the Panathinaikos. This only proves that the Greeks do even have space to invest their money in sports and not of more economic concerns.
Gay as they are, the Greeks are very resilient when it comes to religion as I told you earlier. For instance, they are currently pressuring their Turkish neighbor to reopen an Orthodox seminary in that country which has long been closed down.
